What has been dubbed as the “Freedom Convoy,” a record-setting turnout of supporters and protestors have descended upon the Canadian capital of Ottawa, to protest the vaccine and quarantine mandates levied against Canadian truckers.
What was first believed to be roughly 50,000 truckers, has since been reported to be over 100,000 truckers apart of this massive caravan and convoy. The fact checkers have already jumped in to say this is “fake news.”
How this all got started began when a new Covid-related regulation was initiated this past Saturday, January 22nd. This new regulation stated that cross-border truckers and non-citizens crossing the Canadian-U.S. border must provide proof of vaccination to enter, or face a mandatory 14-day quarantine period. The United States implemented an identical policy all within the relatively same time period – which also applies to the Mexican-U.S. border as well.
Starting on Jan. 22, the Department of Homeland Security will require that non-U.S. individuals entering the United States via land ports of entry or ferry terminals along our northern and southern borders be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and be prepared to show related proof of vaccination.
These updated travel requirements reflect the Biden-Harris Administration’s commitment to protecting public health while safely facilitating the cross-border trade and travel that is critical to our economy.

Because of this, supply chains are said to be stretched and stymied even further, with some reporting prices on certain goods are already beginning to rise because of this, due to the fact that many of these truckers are not vaccinated.
Bloomberg reported this week that Canada’s rule already has led to a surge in produce prices. George Pitsikoulis, president of Montreal-based distributor Canadawide Fruits, told Bloomberg that the cost of transporting produce out of California and Arizona to Canada jumped 25%. In addition, a recent Wall Street Journal article stated that two-way trade in merchandise goods between the United States and Canada totaled more than $600 billion in 2019. It is estimated that about 80% of those goods moved on trucks.
The rules could lead to a significant reduction in truckers willing to cross each country’s border. The American Trucking Associations estimates that about half of truck drivers have not received the COVID-19 vaccine. According to an OOIDA Foundation survey from April 2021, about 75% of OOIDA’s members who responded said they didn’t plan to receive the vaccine.

The vaccine mandate has exacerbated the shortage of truck drivers and made wait times at border crossings even longer. Eighty percent of trade between the US and Canada is transited by truck. America exports about 90% of Canada’s fruits and vegetables during the winter season. As shipments decline because only about half of US truck drivers are vaccinated, grocery stores report shortages.

It was not long thereafter these mandates were put in place, truckers in Canada united and organized a massive convoy all the way to the nation’s capital of Ottawa, to stand against these mandates.
This convoy began in British Colombia, and the truckers (and those tagging along), have followed them all the way to Ottawa.
On their long excursion that took the entire week to get there, hundreds of thousands Canadian men, women, and children, came to support and cheer on the truckers. But the media in Canada and abroad would have the masses believe it is just a tiny amount of people showing up along the way.

In order to stay fed on the long journey, a GoFundMe campaign was started that earned over $5 million Canadian Dollars (roughly $4 million U.S. Dollars). But GoFundMe suspended the account.
RT reports that GoFundMe said the money “will be safely held” until the Freedom Convoy provides the documents “about how funds will be properly distributed.”
We require that fundraisers be transparent about the flow of funds and have a clear plan for how those funds will be spent. In this case, we are in touch with the organizer to verify that information.

On top of this, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau spoke on the convey prior to the truckers reaching Ottawa. Here is what he said in a press conference:

But it was not that much longer that Trudeau announced on social media that he was going into quarantine, claiming that he got Covid.
Many have seen this as a complete act of cowardice, with Trudeau running and hiding.
But this is not the only politician who has denounced the protestors. Leader of the New Democratic Party, Jagmeet Singh, also spoke against the truckers.

This Canadian protest will indeed send shockwaves around the world. It will act as a real beacon of hope, not that others in Europe, Australia, and so on, have had no effect; but it is evident that the sheer number of people involved and in support of it will cause many more to rise and defy the mandates.
This is by design. Please understand what I am about to say, as I will have to be the “bad guy” here. Do not misunderstand me: I am 100% in favor of standing up and resisting the tyranny, and fighting back when needs be. These truckers and other protestors are totally obligated and deserving to stand up against these draconian edicts. Howbeit, as I said, it is by design: the globalist and new world order handlers WANT this to transpire. If you do not believe me, then, as an example, I encourage you to read the Covid and pandemic scripts that demonstrate the elites had accounted for this level of pushback FAR in advance.
The “prophetic” move forward is to “ignite the right.” Progressivism and “wokeness” is to be overthrown and eradicated, and replaced with a much more fervent and nationalistic approach, that values perceived patriotism, and a return to much harsher Roman Catholic ideology. The Protestants, Baptists, Evangelicals, and so on; are a laughingstock, and have totally bowed down to the tyranny. Whereas many of the true Roman Catholics have not, along with diehard Apostolics. Their posture is admittedly infectious and enticing, because it is great appeal to the flesh. This is what the elites and Rome WANT moving forward. Whether these protestors know it or not, they are falling into a trap and bait & switch.

Moreover, another issue is the supply chain disruption this will cause – that has already been exacerbated with the lockdowns and artificial breakdowns to make things worse. Now with these protests, the supply chains will get even worse and prices will soar much higher. Again, this is what the elites want: famine on a large scale:

My first thought was to wonder what kind of effect this will have on the various local economies of wherever the protests take. It requires massive amounts of resources to feed an army. This mob of truckers is, in effect a rolling army. They have to eat, they need fuel, etc. Not to mention the impact their being there is having on local traffic and the damage being done to the roads from all of that rolling weight. A federal study found that one fully loaded semi will do the damage of 9,600 cars to the roads it travels. The wear and tear a semi does to the road surface is incredible. There is a road leading to warehouses near where my wife works and it is filled with potholes that could swallow a full size pickup truck, no joke. Trucks go in and out over there all day and night. I doubt the total road damage from this convoy will be catastrophic, but it could end up costing tax payers lots of their hard earned money.
Good point about the road damage, brother Matthew. Here in Northern Maine, many side roads are closed to Log Trucks during the winter months, because they just destroy the roads with all of the weight they carry.
