MAXIME BERNIER IS A GLOBALIST TOO

MAXIME BERNIER IS A GLOBALIST TOO

The sad reality of Canadian politics is that few people actually spend any time researching the people and parties at play in Canada’s political scene and instead rely on distorted mainstream media editorials for their information.

Fortunately there are still independent researchers and journalists who do spend time delving into little known facts or remind us of forgotten ones. And despite pretensions to the contrary, our mainstream political parties have been much less transparent about what’s been going on than most of us have realized. But it’s not uncommon for people to deny the facts when presented either.

The author who created this media clip and accompanying article about “Mad Max” praising the people’s “freedoms” in Communist China in 2016 while he was still a Conservative MP is such a revelation. But it’s not all that surprising since he is still a fan of Globalist “free trade” deals such as the Trans-Pacific Partnership. (By the way, the only thing “free” about it is the free ride corporations obtain in being able to bypass Canada’s judicial system and get a hearing in a special courtroom where the public is banned.)

China is … rife with state economic interference, state-owned ‘companies’, corruption, crony capitalism, and failure of the rule of law.” Fred McMahon, Fraser Institute.

Max is in good company with his pal, Justin Trudeau, who recently echoed similar sentiments about the People’s Republic of China, coincidentally run by the People’s Party of China — another People’s Party that is anything but Populist.

In 2006 ” the HRSDC (Human Resources and Social Development Canada) and SSHRC (Social Studies Humanities Research Council) were governed under the Minister of Industry, who was Maxime Berrnier. On March 2006, he published a review of the SSHRC praising the merits of the social economy.” Social economy is a euphemism for Communism.

“Johanne Mennie, then Deputy Director of HRSDC & SSHRC, and the current Director of the People’s Party of Canada (PPC), attended several meetings with the George Soros-funded Tides Foundation of Canada that directly called for government policy interventions to implement the social economy program. One such meeting was on October 19-20, 2006 and was called “Scaling Up the Canadian Social Finance Sector”.

Attendees also included Edward Jackson, supported by the Desmarais Power Corporation, the World Bank, advisor to the Rockefeller Foundation, and Tim Brodhead, who is a mentor for the Trudeau Foundation.” (Source: https://cinetworknews.wordpress.com/2019/02/20/soros-tides-foundation-and-the-ppc/ Read this article for the full historical background.)

The Rockefeller Foundation was instrumental in setting up the United Nations and even purchased the land in New York City for its headquarters. The World Bank is an arm of the United Nations. Bernier got his start in business at the Power Corporation.

Maxime Bernier was also an Executive VP of the Montreal Economic Institute which is run by Power Corp. CEO Paul Desmarais’ wife Helene.

The social economy program is a key Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) of UN Agenda 2030.

VIDEO: Conservative MP Maxime Bernier wishes Canada had “more freedom” like China

What does Maxime Bernier admire about China’s basic dictatorship?

Well, the prospective Conservative leadership candidate wishes Canada would return to classic conservative values of “less government and more freedom” – values he suggests are alive and well today in communist China.

Yes, China: that shining city upon a hill.

Speaking at the Conservative Futures conference in Barrie, Ontario this month, Bernier named “China” as a good example of how to lift “hundreds of millions of people” out of poverty through “less government and more freedom.”

“It is not because they have a huge government,” the former Foreign Affairs Minister explained.

“It is because they have a government that gives freedom to people, a government like we used to have here in Canada before Trudeau’s been elected.”

Remember that, everybody?

Remember a few years ago when Canada had a government like communist China?

According to Freedom House, a Washington-based NGO that advocates for democracy, political freedom and human rights, China is currently designated “not free.”

Out of a possible score of 100, China received only 16 points on the organization’s 2016 Freedom in the World index, thanks in part to the country’s poor record on political rights and civil liberties.

On a scale of one to seven, with one meaning “most free” and seven meaning “least free,” China scored a 6.5 rating on “freedom.”

And what of free markets?

Even the right-wing Fraser Institute’s Fred McMahon, who himself believes Hong Kong is the freest place in the world, (https://pressprogress.ca/fraser_institute_expert_tells_business_elites_hong_kong_is_the_freest_place_in_the_world/) despite the notable absence of free elections, says China isn’t an “economic miracle” and it’s not “open to free markets” either: (https://www.fraserinstitute.org/article/liberty-crosshairs-hong-kong

“China is … rife with state economic interference, state-owned ‘companies’, corruption, crony capitalism, and failure of the rule of law.”

Bernier’s cheerful tone on communist China could prove problematic in a potential run for Conservative leadership.

For one thing, Conservative MP Jason Kenney – another prospective leadership contender – has previously been a vocal critic of other Canadian political leaders applauding Chinese government policies:

Meanwhile, Brian Lilley of the right-wing Rebel Media has insisted political leaders should not honour China in “any way, shape or form”:

“China is a country that no one should admire, despite what some political leaders will have you believe. Their basic dictatorship does not put them in a position to be honoured in any way, shape or form.”
